We have used priceline and expedia.com before I would recommend either of those to you & good luck!

Okay, I found a two bedroom condo for one week, SAT-SAT for $995. that's taxes and all! It's across the street from the beach and has it's own private fishing pier. With the money we'll save on fixing our own meals instead of restaurants three times a day, it will definately be worth it.
It won't be the same as maid service, but the kitchen has a dishwasher and I haven't had one in over 10 years! So it'll still have some luxury! LOL

You can often "figure out" what hotwire hotel you are bidding on. Look at the amentities of the hotel. And then try the same dates/criteria for a package w/airfare. They'll tell you the hotel and amentities, but not the airline. So by comparing amentities and geographic location, you can usually figure out what hotel you are bidding on.

I know most of this is focusing on hotels, but I just wanted to jump in and say that I have used priceline for car rentals, once for an economy car and once for a minivan and had good luck both times.

Interesting you should say that as I am also looking at renting a minivan. Can I be nosy and ask how much you paid for one? I need one for a week.

Sorry I didn't see this...I paid $25 day for the minivan, I think I had it for over a week.
