We walk everywhere as much as possible. Most stores are close enough we can walk. We only use the our vehicle for big shops that can't fit into a stroller or be carried. We also try to upkeep our maintenance to make sure it's running properly. We also use the gas stations that have savings or gas coupons to save money.

Here is an article regarding saving money on gas. There are some things that must be debated. Such as the use of the air conditioner. I have read many things that state that the air conditioner uses more gas than having the windows down or using the fan if possible, and then there are others that say there is no difference. But I hope that the article is helpful.

Not so sure about the air conditioning tip with temps in the 90s to low 100s. We are trying to plan/combine our errands so as not to waste gas.

Take out things in your car you don't need. Lugging around extra stuff slows you down as well.
I get better gas mileage if I go 65 instead of over 70.
Coast as much as possible....like when you know you are coming up on a red light just coast in.
