We are planning a trip to Hershey this summer and was wondering if anyone knew of discount tickets for the park. Thanks in advance for your help.

I love it there. The Giant Food store in hershey sells discount tickets. if you are going to stay the night stay in Grantville. That is what we do. It is about a ten minute drive and the hotel prices drop in half. Also, if you know a pass holder we can get so many people in on a discount.

Pick a hotel out of the town it will be cheaper. Also Wendy's and Turkey Hills usually have coupons by the registers. If not there then try a welcome center. If you have AAA then you can probably get discount tickets there. Also sometimes the hotel you stay at will get you a discount.

Just a thought but those of us who live near Hershey Park should plan a MommySavers outing there.

I'm on their email list and they send me stuff almost every day. I usually just delete it so to be honest I'm not sure what all it is, but I'll start checking and if it's something good, I'll post it here.

Hey that could be fun! I live in Harrisburg, it's right next to Hershey! By the way...Restaurant.com has coupons for Bricker's Pizza. It's on the main drag their...what is it called, "Cocoa Ave."? Geez..I have lived here for so long...I don't even know the name...but the lamp posts are huge hershey kisses! Everyone here will know what you are talking about. Anyhow...Bricker's is great and at Restaurant.com you can buy $10 gift cards for $3! You print them our right from home! We use those all the time. We take our 1 year old on the ride at Chocolate World (it's a riding tour). She loves it....never gets bored! Plus it's free and they give you a sample of Chocolate at the end!

Actually...that would be a great place to meet up...bring our families! My husband wouldn't "let" me go alone because he is pretty protective...but he would come of Chocolate World! It's like a 15-20 minute drive!

Anyhow..check out restaurant.com...I use the zip code 17109...then it comes up alphabetically. If you want to know anything else about Hershey and what there is to do around there, please let me know! I grew up here so whatever I can do to help, please let me know!

Oh yeah...also...I think it's only if you buy tickets at the gate, you get a preview the night before...this is where you can do in a few hours before closing and they let you scope out the place. Then you go back the next day! I suggest going on like a Weds. or Thurs....less crowded! The weekends are nuts!

I think it is when you buy your tickets after 7pm that is preview.

Also, try the Crossroads Diner- good food and clean pottys.

I am up for planning a trip, who's in?
