Where do you go to get the best deal? Do you know of a place that offers discounts for multiple cuts in one day?

How much is "too much" for a child's hair cut?

I haven't heard of any place giving a discount for a family.

We go to Cost Cutters or Great Clips. Frequently Great Clips has coupons for around an $8 hair cut. I wouldn't spend over $15 for a hair cut though. I'm just spoiled by Cost Cutter prices.

DH has been going to a lady for years. She used to work at Supercuts until she opened her own shop. He pays $15 each time (and that's including tip) but she LOVES him, gave us a wedding gift, gave him a gift when she got back from vacation, free gel occasionally, and gave us tomatoes just the other day.

Anyway, she charged us $10 when we took in our oldest son when he was younger. I couldn't imagine spending $10 each time per kid so now I cut their hair. I got the set for $25 at Wal Mart and I cut it for free.

Sorry, I'm no help, I know!

I cut dh and ds's hair myself. I get mine cut(when I get it cut LOL) at a friend's and she charges me 16.00 for a wash, cut and style. Dd will be going to her for trims from now on and I don't know how much she will charge for that(she used to get it done at SIL's).

Dh's sister does hair and would do it all for free but she lives an hour away and it's just so much trouble to find a time we can go, etc.

I am also no help. I cut both the boys hair and dh's most of the time. I usually only get mine cut when my mom tells me I should and pays for it! I did give myself bangs a few weeks ago and may try to trim the rest, we'll see.

Usually around here its about 10.00 for the boys(each) and probably 15 for dh and 30 or more for me....I'm just to cheap for that!

I would not spend more than $10 on a kid's haircut. prices in our area went up so I started cutting my dh's and ds's hair.

I do DH's and all 3 of the boys. I figure at the very least it saves is $80 b/c I cut it every other week. Well worth the cost of $20 clippers!

I get mine cut at a cheap local place or SuperCuts. My DS as well but my husband cuts DD's hair! He's the best at it.

I haven't paid for a haircut in so long, I can't even say what a good price would be. We cut our hair at home. I cut my own. I cut DD's. I used to cut hubby's but he bought himself a pair of clippers which he takes with him on biz trips and he gives himself a buzz cut in the shower.

I hear going to a beauty college results in a good deal. My grandmother used to get her perms there.

There is a lady near our house that specializes in kids haircuts...has the cars for them to sit in, movies/cartoons for them to watch. It is $12 for the first and she gives a 10% discount if I bring the other kids the same day so I schedule them all together. I would be scared to death to try to do it myself. They look forward to going so I guess that makes it worth it.
