Thirsties is now making an All in one diaper with a pocket that you can stuff with an insert for overnight or long car rides. They aren't any more expensive than a regular pocket diaper, well worth the value IMO. Only "problem" they don't come in the cute prints only solid colors.

I used Fuzzi Bunz with my second child and I loved them. They do require effort but if you want to save money and have less garbage then I think you should try them. Just make sure that you have plenty so that you don't have to do laundry everyday. Remember, lots of layers keep them dry.

Good luck!

We used cloth diapers (extra thick) for burp rags. I had two children with reflux. YUCK!! They made it through all three kids and now they are used for cleaning, dusting and cleaning my leather furniture.

I am sorry that I don't have advice on using them for bottoms.
