we have had a couple that we have gotten high miles out of. we drove all these vehicles till they dropped.

dh had a 1992 chevy s-10 pickup that crashed at 353,000 miles regular maintanence only oil, tires and brakes nothing else.

we had a 1994 saturn ls that had 386,000 miles on it before it crashed and burned same thing only changed the oil tires and brakes.

my 96 plymouth grand voyager made it to 278,000 miles before it died last spring.

we have done well with our cars and we continue to drive them till they drop and pay cash for them.

Our 2002 Cavilier has 250,000 miles on it. We are hoping it keeps going for quite awhile longer!!

My dh purchased our 2001 VW Jetta with 150,000 miles on it last year. We paid cash for it. He uses it to commute 80 miles round trip per day. It gets almost 50mpg and is running awesome. I don't know exactly how many miles he has on it now.

My first car was a Dodge Colt, I bought it with 250,000 miles on it. I got rear ended shortly after buying it. It burned oil but otherwise ran fine.

My Suburban is 10yrs old, we've had it for 6yrs but it only has 80,000.

Wow! You ladies have gotten great mileage out of your cars.

Both of our vehicles now have over 200K KMS on them. I am hoping to get rid of my car soon, but DH was recently in an accident with his truck and a lot of it was re-done. The repair place said he should get a good deal more use out of it. He's hoping to get at least a couple more years worth.

I've put all but 32 miles of the 132,000 miles on my 2003 GMC Sonoma. I'm currently putting on almost 1000 miles a week now with the new job, but I baby that thing, and it runs like a champ.

We just got rid of dh's Explorer and it had 200,000+ (not sure of exact #) miles on it. It had a few problems that would have soon needed to be fixed and since we needed a larger vehicle we decided to trade it in now while larger vehicles are going for cheaper than average.

Dh had a toyota truck with a little over 275,000 miles on it. We had fixed it a couple of times but the body was falling apart with rust. We sold it to someone for parts.
