Do you have walking or bike trails near your home? Do you go on family bike rides or walks?

We are fortunate that we have a nice paved bike trail within walking distance from our house. There is also a wider nature trail about 5 minutes from our house.

Our subdivision has a nice paved walk/bike trail, it runs right behind our house. I walk on it twice a day.

No, the closest one is about 40 miles away. We bike and walk on our back roads.

We have the Katy Trail not too far away. We live near a river and usually take our walks along the river road up the to the boat slip. The view is beautiful.

We live in an area (new England) where there are a lot of places to hike and bike ride. Now that the snow is gone. We're gearing up to go on more bike rides.

We are very lucky we live near a really large park that has miles and miles of hiking/biking trails - haven't made use of them but plan to start. The trail I like is unfortunately on the other side of the mountains though - really nice trail that goes up the mountain - so want to start taking that trail again - hoping to find some new hiking shoes soon. I really want to start hiking again as I want DS to learn to appreciate the great outdoors like I did as a kid.

We also have a nice park with 7 man made lakes - really nice area with campground (huge) and fishing, biking, walking areas and well as a splashground and regular playgrounds - so going to be spending a lot of time there this summer - oh and they have paddle boats and canoes as well that you can rent. Now I just need someone to teach me to fish and clean the fish - it is stocked and ready to go - saw at least 100 people fishing on Thursday morning when we went to check it out.
