My dd is too old for the Easter toys that are out there, but I got her some egg-shaped pieces of gum, Nestle Crunch chocolate, and M&Ms. I know that's a lot of candy, but it will last for a long time.

Did anyone else get something for their kids today?

I tried but WalMart, Target and Micheals were basically cleaned out by the time I got there - I did get a flag at Micheals but that is all. I didn't want to get any candy but was hoping to get a few baking supplies - cookie cutters and baking cups but oh well.

I looked at Walmart but they only have a few baskets marked down. I don't know what they are waiting for.

I bought an egg dye kit for the kids next year that was 50% off at Walmart, otherwise, nothing.

I got 3 little chicks from Hobby Lobby. I think they're ceramic, but look like wood. They're probably more for me, but there were 3 colors so I told the boys we could get one for each of them. (especially since 2 of them were favorite colors - blue & green) Does that count??

How weird. The Walmarts around here marked stuff down a few days before Easter. Except for a few things, they're all cleaned out.

I got Easter themed bubbles, etch-a-sketch, egg sidewalk chalk and Matchbox cars at Target for the Easter baskets for next year. I just put them in the box with the Easter decorations to store.
