Handprint plate!

1 small ceramic plate (2.79)
1 bottle of accrylic paint (1.50)
small paint brush
One childs hand

Take the plate and put paper towel and newspaper under it
Put pain on child's hand
Put childs hand on plate
take paint brush and write whatever you want ie Grandma or I love you
and let dry!

Total cost:
approx $4.50!

Pottorporri Wall hanging

1 Wooden ring from Craft store (used for cross stiching) $4
1 package of good smelling potporri $1 check the dollar store
1 piece of lace fabric $1
1 piece of random fabric $1

Open the ring up and place aside
put down fabric sprinkle with pottpori
cover with the piece of lace
Put in the wooden ring and close
add some ribbon if you wish and TADA!!
Total cost: $7
this lasts forever! mhm!

Hand print wall hanging
1 bottle of paint 1.50
One piece of any color fabric square $1
One Wooden ring $3 dollars
One good sized trim like colored lace
Sew the trim on to the fabric
Take the fabric and put hand prints and seniment on the fabric and then LET DRY!
Then place in the wooden ring and close and hang!
Total cost $5.50!

Tissue paper Boquet!
6 pieces of colored tissue paper $1
6 green pipe cleaner $2
1 vase from the dollar store $1
1 spray of fragance of your choice
Take tissue paper and cut in to strips
Take tissue paper strips and stack them together in different directions to make a star shape like * then place the pipe cleaner in the middle and fold over.
pull apart the pieces of tissue paper and crinkle them until they look like a flower
Spray them with your fragrance of choice for scent
and place in the vase!
Total cost $4

Wooden names
Decent sized Wooden letters that spell out whatever you want to spell like Mom -$3 depending on Letters
Accrylic paint $1.50
Hot glue or super glue $1

Paint the letters and let them dry
Then glue them together in order
Let dry and Volia!
Total cost up to $5.50 based on Mom more letters will be more!

Tarts and Tart Burner
A package of good smelling wax tarts from the dollar store $1
A tart burner $5 from Bed Bath and beyond
A box of unsecented tea lights $1.50
Put tart on the top of tart burner and light tealight and put it in the hole.
Tip*** to get out used tarts that have lost their smell stick it in the freezer for 10 mins and turn it upside down.

Total $7.50

Homemade easy Stationary!

10 sheets of Computer paper 50 cents
10 envelopes 50 cents
Stamp of your choice $1 at craft store (or use one of your own)
ink pad $1
Ink the rubber stamp and stamp the top of the paper in the center or the bottom corner depending on your stamp
Use the same stamp to stamp the bottom corner of the envelope
Cute Stationary from a child to a grandma or an aunt.
Total $3

Another Stationary Idea
White paper from a tablet $1
Ink pad $1
black marker $1
Take your childs fingerprints and line them up to make a caterpillar
draw a face on the caterpillar and give it antenas.
Very Cute My mom still has a sheet or two from when I made her some in kindergarten
Total $3
Safety Tip----- keep a sheet of each childs stationary write their name on the back then if something happens you have copies of fingerprints.

Cook book----- PLEASE NOTE This is totally different than the real cook book since you can't make the recipes in it!!!!
This is more for Humor than actual recipes
Printer paper 50 cents
ink for your printer
A child who is old enough to communicate (at least 5)
Ask your child what some of their favorite recipes are
Then ask them how they are made write down how ever they say it
(Even if it isn't right It will be fun to look at them when they are older)
Type out the pages and print them
Have them decorate the cover with pictures and have them write Moms cook book or grandmas cookbook
staple and volia
Total price 50 cents
value Priceless!
I still have the one I made when I was in first grade and my brownie recipe is HILLARIOUS
I knew what I was doing for the most part but some of it is questionable

Real cook book

Binder $1
Hole punch $1
Type out some of your favorite recipes or your child's favorite recipes
Print them
Punch them
put them in a three ring binder or project keeper (plastic thingy that is like a book not sure if you punch them with the hole punch if they are in the binder)
and let your child decorate it!
