We don't have any goodwill's here, we have two NuHopes, (they are also the local Hospice available). They just added onto the building at the one here in our town and it is pretty clean and well organized. The one in the town above us is in an old building and smells bad.

We have several thrift shops and consignment shops most are ok but not really organized. to much stuff in to small of buildings.

Near my hometown there is a good church run thrift store, but the others are pretty junky. There is a Gateway that has good stuff, but is getting pretty bad. We usually have been going up to the Memphis area where there are a few good ones and a pretty nice Goodwill south of Memphis in Mississippi. I'm so excited though because Goodwill is putting in two new stores within 30 minutes of where we live! One is in a college town that the students are notorious for just just throwing their stuff away instead of taking it home. I'm hoping they'll at least donate it now.

Here in Las Vegas, there are so many thrift stores all over. In my opinion, the Salvation armies around here seam to be total dumps. They smell dirty. Truth be told, I am not very fond of the Goodwills either. There aren't very many good deals that I find and they are just dirty at both of those places. However, I LOVE Deseret Industries here. They thoroughly go through everything and it is clean. It doesn't have that nasty smell. I love it. The Savers here are nice too (although a lot of the items are way overpriced). There are all kinds of mom and pop places as well, but they aren't that clean. I love going to cleaner places obviously.

Most of the ones in Jersey are clean and organized.
