I was watching the news tonight and they featured a thrift shop in St. Louis with designer clothes, shoes, etc. at thrifty prices. Names such as Prada, Coach...the names I can't afford. I'm dying to get down there and check it out! So, I was wondering if anyone has found any high-end items at disgustingly outstanding prices....

Burn the good candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion...Today IS special.

I got a pair of Lucky jeans at Goodwill last year for $8.00. They fit me perfect, I mean they are really, really flattering. Just need to get them hemmed...

I once found an impeccable Celine navy suit at a thrift store for $10! It had the authentic couture label so I was able to sell it on ebay (this was several years ago when ebay was still hopping) for about $300!

There is a consignment shop near me where the woman who runs it only takes good designer brand items and within the last two years and you get 50% of what they sell for. I have taken some of my mom's items in and made her a little money. Haven't done any of my own yet. Maybe this year. I have shopped there too.

**I actually just got some great FREE items from my sister's friend. She sent a bag full of things she cleaned out from her closet and she wears all designer brands..some things are new with tags! Yippee!
