Default Cheap *almost free* Math activity for young ones

One of the activities that my Kindergarteners LOVED in classroom was one of the absolute cheapest ones I made.

Take empty egg cartons. *for the youngest ones start with the 12 packs* Write random numbers inside the edge of the 'cups'. Give children dry beans to count into the cups. You can use the 18 packs for a higher numbers. Also, as kids get older you can begin to put random number facts in. Probably wouldn't interest them much after first grade but fun for the younger ones.
