When my kids have outgrown toys though, we have definately passed them on to family/friends.

I'm the same as Oregano...although don't know why I've never approached anyone about swapping. I'm gonna have to think about this.

Yup! It was DS's idea, as he came home with a neighbor's toy; DS unknowingly returned the favor a few weeks later. Neither boy has missed his toy!
