If you have multiple kiddos, going out for an ice cream can get a bit pricey. For an initial investment stock up on sundae goodies and have SEVERAL ice cream 'socials' at home for what you would spend at the local Shoppe.

Ideas besides regular sundae syrups and nuts

gummie bears

crushed up candy bars *butterfinger,, yummmm*

mini M&Ms

seasonal spinkles REALLY add to the fun

We used to have make your own at home sundaes whenever someone 'needed it'. For a REALLY ROTTEN day,, a pickup,, for a GREAT day or event, a celebration.

I don't have multiple little ones in my home but we have Ice Cream parties all the time anyway!!!!!

As a bridal shower gift I was given (2) ceramic ice cream sundae sets! they are fabulous and the kids LOVE it when I crack them out!

This is almost identical to one of my sets although mine came with little matching condiment dishes and was a set of 6 not 4.

My other set is the same but it's silver...cool too but nearly as catching for little ones as the fun and colourful ones.

I have thrown a few adult icream cream parties too!

Burn the good candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion...Today IS special.

It's a great idea! Especially to do when someone has a bad day, a nice little treat to make them happy.
