What do you consider a good dollar amount for goody bags?

I just made 15 this weekend and paid less than $5.00 for them. I was pleased. And it didn't contain any candy! And the kids loved them.

Share some of the items you put in for future plans. That's really good! It usually costs me more than that! I try to find a few items that cost less than $1 each, but it probably comes to about 2-4 dollars per bag. I don't usually do candy either, but I'd love to know what you got!

Bag $0.25 (I got pink lunch sack style at WalMart)
Plastic dino $1.57 (I found very nice dinos too)
Grow dino $1.00
Dino Oatmeal $0.25
Dino Pencil $0.10
Stretch Dino $0.30
Dino Jelly Snacks $0.25
Dino Stickers $0.50

Total $4.22 does not include tax.

Awesome! I like to spend as little as possible...but get good stuff too.

Oh, I forgot probably about $0.50 in each bag for the Fizzy Bath Beads that changes the kids bath water. I bought a bottle of those and divided it between the kids.

So I guess it was $4.72.

I think it usually runs me about $5/ bag too. I try for the cheapest things without it being actual garbage kwim!

Burn the good candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion...Today IS special.

Great job. I'm trying to stay away from Candy for dd's goody bags. We just went to a birthday party (for a 6 year old) and the bag was full of gum and stuff dd couldn't have. I'm going to try to stick to things any age group could have.

Stickers, Crayons, etc.
