We got a sack of clothes from a girl at church. Everything but one shirt fits and I can pack that one away for my youngest. I love hand-me-downs.

I have to agree. We get clothes for our DD from DH aunt. They are truly a blessing.

yay! We just got a bag of baby boy clothes from a neighbor, including 4 pairs of baby shoes. There's a big gap between our kids and their older cousins, so it's nice to get some stuff that's not all dated.

Me too!

I have bought DD clothes, but, honestly, I haven't "had" to buy her one stitch. It is such a blessing.

Right now, there are 3 boxes by the front door, full of clothes people have handed down. I also have 2 more boxes in the attic.

This is definitely one of those things I am going to pay forward. It is so helpful!

That's awesome!

Hand me downs have saved us so much. Our DS is 1 and I have yet to buy him anything. And I probably won't have to until he gets into size 5T. My 2 cousins and a friend of my DH decided to give us all their boy clothes, I have 7 totes full, plus his closet and a dresser.

They are the best, my DH used to have a gal that he worked with that had a daughter that was a year older than ours and she would always give us clothing right before her and her family moved they gave us 2 big bags and a large box full of clothes for all the seasons.
