Take an empty paper towel roll;

Cut paper to the length of roll;

Glue around the roll and embellish if you wish.

Ta-da!

To make binoculars, use toilet paper rolls and you can hole punch for a ribbon to hang around neck if desired

My kids would do this all the time when they were little they would also use the tubes to make music makers. My DD one time took a paper towel tube, an empty rectangle kleenex box, put the tube through the end of it and around the opening of the kleenex box put some rubber bands and had a guitar.

When I was little fanny packs were all the rage. My mom took the empty plastic nestle chocolate milk cartons (the small yellow rectangle ones). Cut 2 slits in the back for ribbon to go through (so it could be looped through belt loops), and decorated them. They were great when we went camping and hiking to hold our "treasures" we found.
