I am going on a road trip this next week. Driving all the way down I-5 from Tacoma WA, down into Califronia until we reach the bay area then skirting aroud the east side of the bay we are continuing south to visit my Aunt in Santa Barbra for about 5 days before reversing the trip.

This will be a cheep vaction for me as my mom, sis and neice are coming with and my mom is paying for gas and food. Then we are staying with relitives so no accomidations are needed

Our girls are 15 months and 2 years really too young for alot of things. Still with a 15 hour drive we will need to make a lot of stops. I am looking for fun and frugal things to do with a toddler either on the route or in the Santa barbara area.

I wish I would have seen this sooner, when do you leave? I'm geographically challenged so I'd have to look at a map to see what cities you are driving though to help you out. Let me know when you are leaving and I can come up with a few things.
