We heart Craigslist. We've sold and bought. We've never had any complaints.

Love it!!!

I posted 12 toys on Sunday and had them sold by Monday. One of them was a big ticket item.

I bought my daughter leapster games and PJs with the money!

I officially need to stay away from the online bargains section.

I've sold on Craigslist. The dd's playhouse, double jogger stroller, etc. Just last weekend, I sold a couple of Graco booster seats. Kid's merchandise goes quickly, as does furniture. I have yet to buy anything on CL, but I always look . . . listings without pictures don't even get included in my searches.

Tip - I now ask an interested buyer to give me their phone number, then, if the item is not big, I meet them in a grocery store parking lot, so no one comes to my house. I used to let them come to my house, but then I always waited til dh was home. Not as convenient.

I think Craigslist is the best site that's EVER come around really for getting things FREE at least. I love it and have gotten so many things there!

We've sold many things on Craigslist...there is no way I'm giving out any of our personal information though! Dh always meets the buyer in a random parking lot.

I have scored a few successful babysitting jobs but for every actual item sale they have been scams. Just on 12/23 I received a check for $2500 from Florida. They wanted me to takie $20.00 for my item plus the wire fee and wire them the remaining balance to someone in UK. The guys name is William Smith. The person they wanted me to wire the funds to was Sandy Something. A $2500 check to someone they don't kow for $20 worth of Dr. Suess books. I was really pissed and I let him/her know it. I don't know if they read it but I said it. I was mad because someone in my area was really of interested and I turned them down because the scammer already sent payment. I would like to think that I was smart enough to catch on to that but I seen a website about this type of thing.. I learnt my lesson.

We have sold a few things on Craigslist and we have also given away a few things. My mom has too. I get the junk emails from the people trying to give me a deals "too good to be true" so be sure to watch out for those.
