Borrow what you can.

Check EBAY. I gots lots of cozy, pretty shirts very cheap.

JC Penny has a great maternity section online and there are always internet coupons availble. I had a $25 gift card along with a coupon and got a pair of leggings, a pair of cargo pants and three shirts. Loved JC Penny when I was pregnant.

Raid your husbands closet. Button down mens shirts worn open over big pregnant bellies look cute -- with a t-shirt underneath.

I'm petite and was able to just go up a couple of sizes. Luckily when I was pregnant, the style was for a lot of elastic waist skirts, that thin elastic band. And I could wear it below my belly when I got really big.

I did invest in a decent pair of jeans, not designer, just comfortable.

I invested in 1 pair of comfortable jeans that will last through the entire pregnancy, and 1 pair of shorts. I also have stretchy black pants and a pair of yoga pants. Other than that, I borrow, look at garage sales and just buy the cheap t-shirts that are 2-3 sizes larger than normal. I can wear a sweater over them in the winter when I go out.

ME too!!! With my first pregnancy, I had to still look professional. So, I was able to get dresses at Target for under $5! I had people compliment me on my pregnancy style b/c they didn't think I wore the typical pregnancy look. I also wore elastic waists and drawstring when I could.

WIth my first I was still working, so we could afford to buy a few things. I say buy your basics, A pair of jeans, nice dress or dress slacks and shirt, and a few regular t-shirts. Consignment sales are awesome because you don't have to look as hard as you do at garage sales. Old Navy also has awesome sales!! I've also been able to borrow some of my friends clothes that they aren't using.

There is also this new thing out called a "bella band". I've only seen in online, but it's supposed to let you wear your regular jeans/pants throughout your entire pregnancy! It's pretty reasonable in price to considering you don't have to buy any pants! I think it's around 25-30.00. Here's the link: BELLA BAND

I was given alot of maternity clothes from my 2 friends that already had kids. So if I wanted something "new" Id head out to a thrift store. Or Id just get some plus sized clothes like a tshirt or tank top.

Me too! I bought most of my stuff to wear to work from there. If I wasn't working I would just wear my sweats or pajamma pants.
