I've been to the one in Minnetonka and it seemed nice, clean, and very reasonable priced! I'm going to the one in Mankato next Monday and I'm sooo excited! Minnetonka is the closest one to me, but we're going shopping for the day to Mankato. I can't wait!

Hey again. Thank you so much for posting your replys. I've been watching "So you think you can dance". (While giving baths, washing clothes, cleaning kitchen...) Anyway, I am just now reading your info on Aldi's. I will be going by there tomorrow for sure. We really need to save money right now, so this could be a start. I am spoiled on milk and eggs though... organic on these products all the way. In fact, if any of you are looking for a delicious soymilk, try Organic Vitasoy flavors! We have never liked soy milk until now. Every flavor is a hit with Hubby and the boys! Back to Aldi's, I'll go by tomorrow and then report my findings. Thanks for everything.

I don't believe they carry organic. At least ours doesn't.

I'm always pretty impressed with their produce. YOu can't always find specific things though, it's kind of hit and miss. But last week I got strawberries for $1.19 and they were so yummy!

I've only been once and it was an okay experience. A lot of the advertised items I was looking for were sold out, but other than that, I was happy with the prices!

Maybe mine's small but I really wasn't impressed. The prices were better but the service was horrid. I asked for help and the customers were 10 times nicer than any of the employees. I don't know if I'll go back. I can't stand outright rudeness. It made my first trip (and I was excited too) such a bad one.

The milk was a good price but I didn't need any. I also bought some zuchinni and they spoiled within 3 days. (Then again when I was at Cub I went to buy mangos and they all were squichy in my hand- baaad squishy.) Is it me or are grocery stores going downhill?

I thought I was the only one that felt this way. I can't tell you the number of times I've found expired items on shelves, produce that wasn't fit to eat and meat that was past it's prime. I am so tired of finding a grocery store I like only to have it slip. I wish management was better, to me that's the root of all the problems. n my soapbox:

Ya know what? I went to Aldi's recently after not going there for a long time (we used to go there growing up). But honestly...now that our Walmart turned into a "Super Walmart," you can buy the Walmart brand of anything from canned goods, to cereal, to snack items...and their brands are just as cheap. Plus they have more selection and you can compare their store brand prices to the named-brand prices...which I have also found are cheaper then my regular grocery store.

I have never even heard of aldi's until I came to this site. Sounds like we need one here in Seattle, Wa. Right now we do most of our shopping at walmart and grog outlet. If any of you know of one in Washington, please let me know. Thanks!

I haven't read through all the responses you got, it looks like you got a lot of them! I thought maybe this link could help you out too:
http://www.mommysavers.com/money-sav...cks-aldi.shtml

Also, if you use the search feature above and type in "Aldi" you'll see lots of other threads about Aldi.
