I have read several times on here about people shopping at Aldi's. We have one around the corner from my house, but I have never been there. Can anyone tell me if they sell produce there? And do they carry any organic canned goods, or dry goods there? I mostly shop at Kroger in the natural section. I stock up on dry goods when there is a good sale. I sometimes shop at Super-Target for food. It would be very easy for me to stop in at Aldi, if it offers a good selection at good prices.

I like Aldi's. There just isn't one in a convenient location to my house. They have produce and boxed and canned items as well. When you go you need to bring your own bags and have a quarter for a deposit on the cart(you get it back when you return it). You should check it out.

Aldi's carries produce (and most times ours is BETTER than at the reg grocery store), and WAY cheaper. I don't know about Organic but someone else might...As for payment our Aldi is cash or debit only (so your check card works, you just have to key in your pin like a debit). HTH!

Most aldi's take cash, checks or debit cards....no credit cards. I shop there all the time and I have never had any problems with anything that I buy.
QCan anyone tell me if they sell produce there?they do sell produce a pretty good selection of it.

Q. And do they carry any organic canned goods, or dry goods there?"
I haven't seen any organic canned stuff there. They do have their brand of healthy called"fit and Active" they do have a good selection of dry goods.

The best thing to do is to take some time and just go check it out...go in for something simple like eggs, or baby carrots and just take a look around.

if you do go and shop there...take your own bags and a quarter

The milk depending on what kind you buy is usually pretty cheap..the last time I was in there(3 weeks ago) skim milk was around $2.90...I get my milk from Sam's so I never get milk there.

Our Aldi's only takes cash, but they do have a ATM on site. I don't know about organic, but they do have produce really reasonablly priced. Also their canned goods, cheese and milk are very good prices.
