I need to re-stock the boys' sweatpants supply. My boys all live in sweatpants during the winter. Usually, they wear them out each year so there is not much to pass down amongst them. You also do not find many in used clothing stores. Where is the best places to shop for sweat pants? I have 4 boys to buy for!

My kids don't wear them that much on a day to day basis, but I do end up buying them for Halloween costumes or school plays and I usually get them at Target or WalMart, just because I usually need them in a quick fashion and I'm not really shopping around but looking for a particular color. I think it's the Hanes Brand. Otherwise I've seen them on sale at places like Gap, Old Navy, Talbot's etc...you just have to keep your eyes peeled but they do get marked way down.

Good Afternoon:

This is actually my first time on the boards posting. I just did back to school shopping at Walmart. I got size 5T sweats for $3.88 a pair. I dont know what sizes you need but they are definitely worth checking out.

I always buy my kids sweatpants at WalMart - Hanes brand for $3.88. Neither of my kids like jeans so they live in sweatpants when they are out of school.

My son lives in sweat pants too and is really hard on them. I like the ones I bought at Target last year- I'm not sure of the brand but it might have been Hanes. Also, I bought 3 pair at the local Army/Navy store and although they were a bit more money they look almost new.

I would say Walmart too. Our Kmart had some on clearance for really cheap a few months ago, so I got a bunch then and somtimes I find some at garage sales.

I buy at both Target and Walmart--my son also lives in sweat pants in the winter--but it seems to me that the ones I get at Target outlast the Walmart ones. Granted, they're maybe $1.00 more initially, but to me it's worth it for the better quality/lasting longer.

Try Steve and Barry's if you have one near you. I agree with everyone else--also look at Walmart, Target, and Kmart.

I have never even heard of Steve and Barry's?? So I guess we don't have any!! I did notice that WalMart has their sweats out now. Target did not have them all out yet.

I do agree that Targets are better. I think they are Hanes vs. Granimals at walmart. I like the Hanes ones from Target even better then Sonoma from Kohl's, their color lasts longer. JcPenney usually has their Oki Doki brand 2 for $12 or something like that and theirs last long too. Then you can get tops to match to look a little dressier. Or sometimes they are buy one get one for a $1.
