Now is a great time to find dress up and play clothes for the little ones. You can find lots of outfits at Goodwill in the Halloween costume section. Dollar stores have cheap wigs, boas, etc. Shop Halloween clearance sales as well.

Of course, wait until AFTER Halloween to get the really good deals.

I shop for dress-up and play clothes for DD all year long at the thrift stores. There is usually some kind of darling fancy dress at $2 because it isn't in great shape anymore.

I agree! I got a whole bunch of costumes for dd to play with when they were clearanced out at Target - 90% off! The first week in November is the best time to hit Target.
