I normally use Costco's brand and love them and have always been very happy with the WalMart type as well.

That said, this week I couldn't get to Costco or WalMart and ended up buying Western Family diapers from our local grocery store -- they're AWFUL! I running about 50/50 on them leaking. I will NEVER EVER get these again I'd return them but I'm already tossed the package out. I've never had problems with generic diapers before.

I WISH I could use a generic brand but my dd is allergic to all generic diapers. The cheapest I can get away with is Luvs. I've used Luvs with all 3 of my dds now and haven't had hardly any problems.

My pediatrician said that all formula is FDA regulated so he did not have a problem with any of them. He did say that one generic brand is made at the same place as Similac and just has a different label on it.

We have used White Cloud on my dd since she was born and no problems with them. Have not tried the Parent's Choice though. Huggies do not work well on her. Luvs & Pampers work great (and if I can get them for a steal I do). I just recently started trying Aldi's brand diapers - they work GREAT too and much cheaper!!!

I have been using Target Brand diapers for quite some time now. I find that they are the absolute least expensive!! They are always the same price so I never have to get coupons or wait for sales on them.

The Target ones only leak if I have gone too long with out changing my son's diaper. Plus, he is almost 2-1/2 so he goes a lot more than he used to I am sure! (We'll be potty training soon.)

I have tried Pampers and Huggies--I have trouble with the tabs ripping off on these. That alone makes me angry enough not to purchase those brands!! Nothing worse than wasting an expensive diaper because the darn tab ripped off when I am in a hurry to put another diaper on my son!

I was not real impressed with the Walmart Parent's choice, I found the Target ones to be a little better and less expensive.

I have never tried the generic formulas.........i might with our next baby. I was just nervous about it with our first baby. I only used Similac and Enfamil. The Nestle Good Start formulas did not mix with the water quite as well as the other two.....which is my main concern if I do end up trying the generics.

My kids survived diaperhood mainly in Target brand diapers! Never had a problem sometimes I would buy Luvs because they had good sales every now and again.

Never had to buy formula as I mostly breast fed and a friend knew a rep for Similac so what little I did use was free. IF I did have to buy I am sure I would of went with the generic as well!

I do daycare and provide diapers and formula for my kids. I have tried the Parents choice diapers and I don't like them. They leak and get real baggy between the legs. But Parents choice formula works good. One of my babies was just on that and she did great. I use white cloud diapers or the Target brand. Those two seem to work the best and are the cheapest. Also Toys R Us makes a generic diaper that works pretty good. If you get into their baby sale they usually have 2 cases for $30 which is an awesome deal. And all formulas are basicly the same like others were saying. Do get formula with Dha/Ara in them. They are proteins found in Omega-3 and are very very good for brain developlement in babies. If you are pregnant now look into buying supplements too and taking them. Look it up on the internet for the pro's of taking it while prenant.

I have used Parent's Choice diapers and found them to be ok. I like luvs and pampers the best, but my son broke out in a rash when I tried White Cloud so that brand is out for us. As far as formula, he started out on similac but I switched to Nestle Good Start and really like that one. I haven't really tried generic formulas.

Target brand diapers are great! I have never had a problem with them at all. I absolutely HATE White Cloud. They leak, they don't stay together and They just don't work in my opinion. I have not used a store brand formula- because I only buy formula for Noah and I have so many great coupons for Similac that it's pretty much the same price after coupons-so I just buy that.

I used almost any brand of generic. Target brand were my favorite. I did not like the WalMart ones either. They leaked and smelled like pee. I was able to use any brand of formula except Carnation. It did not agree with my little one at all.
