I am thinking about the breastfeeding for the benefits as well as the cost, but I have to go back to work after 6 weeks and I am a little nervous about pumping. Thanks to all who suggested it as I have now looked into it further.

I've used most generic diapers too with little or no problems (except for White cloud). My favs right now are either target or the Kroger brand. Both of my kids used Parents choice formula and thrived on it

I always used the WalMart brand diapers and never had a problem w/ them.
Also try the Kroger brand...they might be a little better.

I buy luvs they cost just about the same and have more in them then higgies or pampers and work great!! and if you sign up with them you get great coupons for like 3 dollars off every month and inside each box theres a dollar off coupon so they really work out great and walmarts brand formula is great y son couldnt tell the difference but I owe my life to WIC!!

I honestly believe that diapers depend on the child. With my first born, I was given many different kinds and found Huggies to leak within an hour. I switched to Luvs and then later tried Parent's Choice from walmart and I have never had a problem.

As for formula, we get WIC and when I sometimes have to buy a can before the next check, I buy Parent's Choice from walmart and have never had any problems with it. In fact, it would save WIC money if they would use the cheaper formulas, I don't know why you can only get Enfamil with WIC.

I tried Parent's Choice and hated them. I get Pampers when I have coupons and are on sale but that is rare. I usually switch between CVS and Kroger and like the both. Sometimes you can really luck out on CVS when they are on sale and then you have a coupon for $$ off of any CVS brand product. Formula I am not sure of. DS is on a special formula that they don't make generic of =(.

I tried Parent's Choice diapers as well and found them to be cheap. I also hated them. BUT, I also tried the other Walmart brand, White Cloud and we love them and have never had a problem. They sure as heck are much more cost effective than the name brand diapers!

I just wanted to send you grats on baby #2 coming soon!!! How exciting!

As far as diapers and formula I'm of no help Since I cloth diapered and breastfed.

I still hate them. I've found that the snug and dry work better than the supremes. At least for my daughter, and there is more in the pack.
I still say pampers or luvs.
I am still looking into target brand.
Will know Wednesday.
