I am having baby #2 in Jan. I have tried the wal-mart brand of diapers with my DS when he was younger, and they leaked in about 2 seconds. I was wondering which stores have the best generic diapers that have been tried. Also, generic fourmula, has anyone tried it? Were you happy with it? Thanks.

Well, I know you say you tried them and didn't like them but we have been using the Parent's Choice diapers since our two-year old was about 6 months, maybe younger, and have never had a problem. We used them from the beginning with our 10-month old and have not had any problems with leaks. One is a boy and the other is a girl.

I've heard others say they use the Target brand and like them. The one brand I absolutely do NOT like is White Cloud.

My kids couldn't use walmart diapers either but they could use target brand up until about 6 months then we had to switch to Luvs. I have never used generic brand formula, so I wouldn't know anything about it.

in the beginning we used white clound diapers a few packs.. not a problem here. Parents choice don't like leak, luvs also leaked for us. We always just buy pampers since there are never any leaks not even at night. Huggies also no leaks but my dd walk bolegged in them for some reason. Formula we did do Parents Choice but my dd was bf up intil 10 months and even then only got formula during the day. She still nursed am and pm till she was 1 .

With my last baby, the only generics I tried were Miejers and Targets. I know I liked targets, but I probably used Meijers more, just because that is where I did my shopping. When I had my first baby, I loved Kmarts diapers, but since I moved to the other side of town, I stopped going to Kmart, and don't know if they still work good. This time I pretty much tried to get as many coupons as I could for Huggies and Pampers. With Huggies being my favorite. I have used Luvs too. Not sure I like the fit anymore.

I also wanted to add that I have used, CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aids, and don't remember having any problems.

Nothing but brand name ones used in this house. I figure I end up saving on Tide by not having to wash poopy clothes all of the time.

I actually really like White Cloud diapers, better than Parents Choice. But I buy whatever store brand is there, and I haven't really had any problems yet. I haven't yet found Pampers or Huggies or Luvs to be cheaper, even when they are on sale PLUS a coupon! Never used formula, so can't help you there.

I have never had a problem with Wal*mart's parent's choice. I also use the Meijer brand,CVS,and Jewel.Oh yeah, I have also used Sam's Club(wich I think is diff. than Parent's Choice).

I loved Target brand diapers and both my kids used them and Luvs (the cheapest but as far asI am concerned on of the best!).

All formula is the same (with the exception of soy, extra iron, etc) By law it must be FDA regulated.so weather it is Enfamil or Parents Choice it MUST meet FDA regulations. My kids both started out on Similac and then went to Target brand,...there was absolutly no difference except in the price.
