I am lucky because my husband is always coming up with fun, wacky things for the kids to do on the weekends (crazy movies, origami, paper airplanes, science experiments are some recent things). I know he sometimes gets ideas from the internet like the "How To" website. I, on the other hand, am the "boring" parent. :-) I like to do things like go to the library or the science museum (our $90 annual pass was a great investment). If the weather is nice we go on bike rides to the park nearby, and my husband likes to take the kids geo-caching using his handheld GPS. We're having an extremely mild winter in NC so we've been out alot recently.
