My hubby and I both love CL and I'll tell you about another site we love too, it's called Freecycle. I've bought a crib, for my sister, and lots of higher priced toys for our dd really reasonable.

I agree Craigslist is awesome!! I have found some pretty good deals on there, I also found both of our Shih-Tzu's on there, it did take work & time to find the perfect pet but we found a family too busy for these two, & they were happy to find a home with so many girls they almost gave them to us!! It also can be informational as well, if you ever post a question or are looking for one special somthing the advice is very helpful!!

I haven't tried Craiglist, but my brother raves about it all the time. I think it's cool that people can not only buy & sell, but are able to barter items also. I'm an Ebay girl, but I'll log on to CL every so often to check things out. I hope to spy a good deal sometime.

My DH thinks I'm crazy! I love CL and buy off there all the time. I am going to get a swing today for $20! I refuse to buy certain things like toys new now from BRU. Love CL!

I had no idea how much I would love CL until we found out we were having another child. We had gotten rid of all things baby so we had to start over. I got some great deals - baby swing, maternity clothes, bouncer, and a Lambs and Ivy nursery set I bought for $50 and had everything including the mobile, drapes, wall hangings, even a matching clock.

The biggest deal of all was getting two captain beds that had matching desks that slid underneath, bookshelves at the end for storage, matching dresser, and two mattresses still in plastic all for $300. The guy even delivered it! I looked it up they were going for over $1,000 a piece not including the mattress. He was a grandpa who bought them for his grandchildren when they would spend the night, but they never ended up sleeping in their beds and then the kids wanted something else. It was wonderful because I needed to have my 2 girls share a room and this allowed them their own space with tons of storage for all their things.

I love Craigslist too! I have bought and sold some things on there. My favorite is the bartering though. We have a bunch of mannequins that I have been trading for stuff lately. I have traded them for tickets to a theme park, $100 in gift cards to a local massage clinic, a couple of brand new Wii games, a sewing machine, a dog crate, and a small tv. I also bartered to have my carpet cleaned last December, he is coming back in a couple of weeks to clean it again.

Right now I have the mannequins on there, a flute and a medela double breast pump, but it seems that the flute and pump are just sitting there doing nothing.

I LOVE CL, I had sold all my baby stuff throughout the years since we thought we were done on CL. So I get to buy new stuff for this one. I've gotten almost everything for baby #4 and so far spent less than $150. I've gotten the Amby Baby Hammock set (retails $350), FP Soothing Motions Glider (retails $70), the Arms Reach Cosleeper (retails $170), the JJ Cole Bundle Me (retails $40), some Halo Sleepsacks and gowns, and I think that's it so far. Everything has been in EXCELLENT condition, you know I won't buy it if it looks used. That's just in the past 2 weeks and what a deal! I have a few more things I'm looking for but I have 3 more months so I'm sure I will find it!
