I don't like Target diapers-they irritated my kids' bums & leaked. If I were going to use sposies, I'd use Pampers. If you really want to save $$, though-use cloth! I really loved using cloth (I've got none in diapers any more), no rashes, not a big deal with laundry, & if you use AIOs (all in ones), no leaks .

I have had success with Target brand and other store brands but not with Luvs while my friend swears by Luvs! ALthough I only had problems with leakage, not irritation with diapers, the only wipes I can use are huggies unscented, even the store brand unscented break her out!

I also learned that when I try a new brand, I buy the smallest pack they have so that I have not wasted too much money!

Good luck.

i think it all depends on your kids body shape legs size and how much the pee.. i have 3 kids and all 3 have worn different dipaers because one over another did not work for them...
ds #1- wore parents choice or huggies(only ones that did not leak)
ds#2- wore parents choice the only ones that did not leak for him
dd- she wears luvs or pampers the others don't fit her little frame and skinny legs.

so i don't think its so much the diapers as it is the kids..

I agree that the best thing really is cloth. I have too many excuses though. Especially the big investment that has to be made when I'm on #3 and possibly my last. He's getting close to being trained too.

I didn't mention that I really like Kroger diapers except they have a "tire" smell to them Also, with bigger babies like mine, they leak through the fabric when they get wet. I wish my ds would just use the potty!

I found Target diapers to leak, and get really saggy right away. However I use Luvs and Pampers which both work great.

I have tried the Target brand diapers and they were ok but not something I'd buy on an always basis. I generally bought Luvs for my boys ( we're moving into the pull up phase now!). My favorite Generic brand diapers though I got from Kroger (I really like the Supreme with the green animals on them) and Walgreens (the ones with the dinosaurs on them.)

Okay UPDATE after a weekend with Target Brand Size 3 Diapers :

Friday evening we were completely out of Pampers all I had were the 2 Target Brand diapers my co-worker brought for me to try out I resisted the urge to go buy diapers that night and decided to wait till morning. I put Natylie in a fresh Target diaper after her bath and she was tired as could be and wore herself out around 9:30, she did not get up till around 8am the next morning the diaper was full and the back of her onsie was damp but not soaking wet so I was not sure if it was just her sweating that morning (it was unusually warm in the house) Changed her and went to Target I took my Pampers coupon with me just in case well I REALLY liked the $13.47 (I may be a little off on the change) price for 102 size 3 diapers!! But I went for the small pack of 40 for $5 and some change just because I really was not totally sold WELL IM going back to Pampers!! The tabs kept unsnapping, she was in the living room with her sisters Sunday morning when my oldest yelled out Natylies diaper is around her ankle and then a scream from my other DD "MOMMY THERES POOP ON THE FLOOR" UGHHHHH She even leaked during 1 1/2hr church service in which she was changed before we got there!

Leaking, Not staying snapped, ill fitting diaper its a NO NO for me Im just going to suck up the price of Pampers and cross my fingers that DD potty trains early

Ive switched to Target Diapers after this discussion came about 4 months ago. I like them. They arent Pampers, but they work fine. My daughter is 2 though. Not sure how well they would work for babies since they pee sooo much. The tabs arent quite as stretchy as Pampers, they arent as nice looking as Pampers, BUT, they pee and poop in them and you throw them away.
