Does anyone know of good vision/dental insurance that you can ge yourself? More specifically the vision part. DH and I spend $100 each for our eye exams iteslf and t hen its $100 for our contacts so $400 total. Is there a cheaper way?

I know how you feel, my tooth has been hurting for the last 4 weeks or so and it has gotten worse (feels like labor ALLL over again) and I have to pay it out of my pocket (well sam does because my job does not give us benefits).

Individual and Family Discount Dental Plans

This is where we got the plan we used last year (and will again this year as soon as our Stimulus check comes in). We did Vital Savings by Aetna (they were the only ones with a pediatric dentist in our town.) They wanted $100/mo for really lousy insurance through DH company. Cost-wise, this will make more sense for us. We got lucky and both our dentists were on the plan.
