Half Price Books is offering a summer reading program as well called Feed Your Brain. They have forms in the store. Your child reads 15 minutes a day. You can turn in 1 form a week. This has to be time the child reads, it can't be if you read to your child. Your child will get a $3 shopping card or a free kid's buffet at CiCi's pizza. That's the equivalent of a free book in the store. Plus there is no limit on the number of week's you enter. It goes until Sat Aug 2. If your child is a dedicated reader that could equal out to over 8 free books!

My kids would read for books or pizza. What a great idea. I wonder why CiCi's didn't tell me about this last night when we were there?

I love this program. We are splitting this up..one week he buys a book he wants and the next week we buy a book from our homeschool reading list for next Fall.

And they let me use my Homeschool discount card for an extra 20%.
