We like the Loon Cafe and Gluek's. They are bars, but they also serve a full menu. Britt's Pub is also really good. They do lawn bowling on the roof in the summer, too, I believe.

I just thought about this one maybe a Twins Baseball game? Sundays are fun days to go since you cen get in pretty cheap and the kids can run the bases and get a signiture from TC~ my kids always love that.

I think you can get tickets for around 10$ a ticket.
Im sure to if someone has a Happenings book there are coupons in there a lot too (I dont have one so I cant help ya but its an idea)

Yes, Britt's does have lawn bowling in the summer. Britt also has a nice location being across the street from Peavey Plaza, the park next to Orchestra Hall.

There is a movie theatre in Block E which houses Gameworks that someone else mentioned. There's a Coldstone there and an Applebees. I'm not sure what shopping is there now. Borders closed last winter. There is also the Shout House there which is a dualing piano show. I'm not sure if it would be appropriate for children or not. I have not seen the show.

Here's some info for you:

Hard Rock Cafe is in Block E too. That can be fun if you're up for it.
