I grew up going to Detriot suburbs every summer and Christmas (till my grandparents moved to Florida LOL)

Happymom, I don't know how close that is too downtown minneapolis, and if it would be worth it to take a bus there. I will ask my aunt though. Maybe she could take the older kids. LOL. I don't know if I want to take the little one. I will let you know. Thanks for the offer.
Kelly, I was born in Detroit, and use to visit my aunt(the one in Minneapolis now) every summer, and once or twice on Thanksgiving. I am an hour away. I loved visiting Detroit. I don't go anymore for hardly anything. No one in my family has interest in visiting the museums. And I won't go without my hubby.

OKay ladies, I need help figuring out downtown mpls places to eat. I am trying to send the coupons but I have no idea it these places are in downtown mpls or not. yeah, I one of those who doesn't cross the river.

It's Girl Scout Cookie Time

Thank you. I wish I could remember where we ate last time. Well, I remember some, Macys, Target food court, and some pizza place. We ate at the mall too. There is only one bookstore left downtown. We might see a movie while we are there too.
I will take any coupons for any store in the Mall of America that you wouldn't use. I plan on going there two days, I think.

I work in downtown Mpls and there are tons of places to eat. City Center ((6th street and Nicollet Mall) has big food court on the 3rd floor. Near the Target store is a Quizino's sandwich shop and Salad Creations. Across the skyway from Target is a subway, a pizza place, Dairy Queen and deli called D. Brians. They have the BEST soups! On Nicollet Mall is more expensive places like McCormicks and Schimecks and Zelos. Oh and there is also Chipotle (between 10th and 11th on Nicollet), the News Room (bar and food) and The Local which is a pub.
