Organize Your Gift Giving and Save
The holidays are approaching... will you be ready? This year, consider creating a gift spreadsheet with every gift, occasion and recipient listed - everyone from Grandmas to Babysitters and Sunday School teachers. When you do find a great gift at the right price, check it off your list and put it in your gift stash. When you need it, you can simply pull it out of the box!

You're super organized Kim!

I just have a "gift" closet. It's somewhat organized by age

Do you have a copy of the spreadsheet we can download? I am not very good at making the spreadsheets, but I think it is a great idea!

Mine wouldn't really help you since it has the names of the people I buy for on it! Just put the occasions on the line going across and the names of the people you buy for going down. It's pretty easy to create one.

I have a gift closet too, and a book with the names of the ones that I buy for with the year at the top.

As I buy the gift I wite the gift item by the name, and as I give them the gift I highlight it. That way I don't give the person the same thing the next year.

I have a gift closet and a notebook where I write it all down in.. it's not quite as organized as yours but it keeps me from double gifting or forgetting someone!

What a great idea! I have a gift closet, but I don't really track what I have purchased. So, I end up buying two or three gifts for the same person over the year. I'm definitely going to try this idea.
