I make garlic toast with them. Put on some butter, sprinkle with garlic powder and toast them on a griddle or frying pan.

We don't waste much food. Occasionally we'll throw something out, but it is rare.

The way I get my husband to eat leftovers is to refuse to cook something new for dinner. Now, I am trying to train myself to eat leftovers for lunch, because I usually eat cereal or noodles.

The boys and I eat left overs for lunches. There are few things dh will eat as left overs. That article had a couple tips I liked. One thing I need to do is just not make SO MUCH.

This was one of the first things I tackled when I began my "frugal journey". I used to make full meals and throw away almost all left overs!

Now, it is rare that food goes to waste here. I plan, plan, plan. It is key!!!

dh eats left overs for lunch at work, and gets SO many compliments on how it smells ( as his office staff is eating frozen crud dinners - LOL )

I am finding that I am throwing away more produce that goes bad... like I just bought peaches, pears and a couple of red peppers on Thursday, and they were moldy on Friday night! UGH I HATE that

I don't throw much away. I only throw yucky stuff out, but I try to use things before they go bad. And if I can, I freeze it. We eat leftovers for lunch most days so things get used up.
