Kroger had their Private Selection Turkeys for .68 per lb. That is a good deal. Before they went on sale they were $2.40 per lb.

Watch for sales this time of year. In my area (we have Weis, Giant Foods and Wegmans) they have very low prices on turkey with a $25 purchase. Last year I got a BIG turkey, forget the weight, for .25 a pound with a $25 purchase. I'm watching for that sale again! We also had .35, .27, and like .45 a pound.

In yesterdays paper Kroger's ad listed turkey's for .39 a pound, limit 1. I think I may make a couple of trips.

That's an amazing deal!

The lowest I've seen is in Canada is 99 cents a pound and that's usually the week after thanksgiving. It's usually $2.49 a pound ... hence the reason we don't eat it often.

I thought so to. I'm the one that cooks the turkey for Thanksgiving and usually have to get one that's about 20 -22 lbs. Less than $10.00 for a turkey that size is awesome

My IL's live in Niagara and they quite often go "over the river" to Buffalo to get great deals like this on turkey!
