My bread machine has really been saving us money. I've been making a loaf of bread every other day and sometimes daily. My family loves it. I can make it cheaper at home. Plus I'm not spending money on gas to drive to the bread outlet store where more often than not other items jumped in the cart.

We have been making a lot here too. If only I were better at slicing it

I use an electric knife, but sometimes I still have difficulty! I actually used my bread machine twice today, once to make a loaf of bread, and once to make pizza dough for dinner tonight!

We use ours almost every day! We make regular loaves of bread, garlic bread, yeast rolls, pizza crust, even cinnamon rolls. It was well worth the investment at our house.

Are they easy to use? And do they really save money??? My mom keeps asking me what I want for Christmas maybe I'll tell her that. Any suggestions on what kind?

I've had my Black & Decker Breadmaker for 13+ years and it's *STILL* going strong... so it gets my vote!!

I have been begging dh for a bread maker for a while now. But I have no clue as to which one to choose. I would think it would save us a great deal of money since the closest bread outlet is about 45 miles away and we go through at least 3 loaves a week. maybe Santa will bring me one....along with a new van!!

I'm in the same boat - which one to choose. Plus, I want a screamin' deal. It's like...c'mon, just buy it, already! The family's on board with it!

And Chatsalot, is your long-lasting friend even available these days?
