Leftover cube steaks-add some gravy and serve with biscuits and eggs for breakfast

Leftover pancake batter- cook some extras and freeze for later

Expired milk- use for baking

Leftover vegetables- store in a container in the freezer for soup

Leftover cornbread/biscuits- crumble up and freeze for making homemade dressing

Fruit juice from cans of fruit- use instead of water when making jello

Leftover pickle juice- slice some cucumbers and leave in the jar overnight in the fridge, this will make new pickles. Or you can add some in with your potato salad/tuna salad to give it a little extra flavor.

Leftover veggies/meat - fried rice

Over ripe fruits are frozen added into Jello and made into a dessert.

As someone else also wrote, regarding leftovers, I too use vegetables, etc. If I find the broth not tasty enough I add a couple of buillion cubes to the liquid. I use leftover mashed potatoes (will thicken the mixture), stuffing, homemade gravy, limpy celery ...anything I find that has not been eaten from other meals. The above really makes a tasty soup which my family loves. especially on cold winter days.

I have an extra loaf of bread and 2 dozen eggs to use, so I am going to make french toast tomorrow and then freeze. Extra fresh fruit I add to muffins.

I have chickens, and my customers tend to drop off in the winter time. I have started making homemade egg noodles (so easy) and then I freeze the noodles. Makes a GREAT meal with leftover meat. Boil the noodles in water/broth with the meat and add veggies - makes a very hearty stew or noodles/meat with gravy.

I made some tomato soup the other day and we didn't like it very much so I dumped some rice in the leftovers and cooked the liquid out, and it made great spanish rice.

Leftover pickle juice is also a very yummy marinade for pork or chicken
