Anyone enjoy trying copycat recipes of your favorite restaurant meals at home? They save you the expense of eating out because usually you can make it cheaper at home.
Dh has mastered a copycat of a pasta, sausage and pepper meal he likes at a place called Granite City.
A family favorite is a copycat of The Outback's Alice Springs Chicken.

I love copycat recipes! I have both of the top secret cook books. My favorite is the Bennihana Japanese Onion soup. That is my favoritest thing ever. The fridays potato skins are good as well.

I do that all the time. I don't buy the "secret cookbooks" though - I enjoy the challenge of trying to figure it out!

I love that website!

My faves are the Cracker Barrel dumplings, Outback ranch dressing and Red Lobster biscuits...I have gotten so picky about eating out esp when I know can make it at home for waaaay cheaper, McD's is about the only place we stop by anymore...for the kids
