I found this recipe in a cookbook from the Library, it works really well when you are baking muffins, cakes, casseroles, etc...

1 cup flour
1 cup oil
1 cup shortening

Cream together with mixer. Pour into airtight refrigerator, store in fridge. I use a pastry brush to put it on my casserole dishes, etc...

I use my pastry/basting brush instead of my fingers. This gets the work done faster for me.

I use a sprayer like the Misto, but mine is from Pampered Chef. It works ok for most things.
