Do you make the dough from scratch? Do you buy namebrand canned refrigerated dough with a coupon or storebrand/generic? Do you make your own pizza sauce?

I make dough from scratch in the bread maker. I use canned spaghetti sauce and I buy shredded cheese in the super big (2 lb?) bags.

I make my dough from scratch, and I just use 1 can of plain tomato sauce for the sauce. There are spices in the dough, so you can't tell the difference and it's super easy.

I also use a big can of whole olives and slice them myself because it's so much cheaper per ounce. We snack on the rest of the olives, or I plan to use them in a different dish.

sometimes I make my dough from scratch other times I use Rhodes bread loafs from the freezer section(they make excellent thin crust when rolled out). We buy our sauce hy vee brand is our favorite i stock up when its on sale. Cheese we also buy when on sale and divide up into freezer bags I currently have 20 bags of cheese in my freezer. As for topping we use leftovers on top.

I make the dough and sauce from scratch. The sauce is good for 4 pizzas and I make 2 so in the freezer it goes for the next week. (EVERY Friday is pizza night)

Olives, I cut and slice myself because yes they are cheaper. My boys love them so they always get used!

I usually buy the store brand Mozzarella unless I have a good coupon and since its lasts awhile I will stock up, to me that is the priciest item on the pizza!

I like red peppers sometimes cheap at Aldis and I cut and freeze so one pepper can last awhile as I don't go crazy!

Pepperoni (blech) but they all love, I buy fresh from the deli and ask for a couple of handfulls of pizza pepperoni usually runs anywhere from 1 to 1.50 and again it always gets eaten!

When they have the Pillsbury refrigerated pizza dough bogo, I go ahead and buy a couple. I make pizza sauce using a can of tomato sauce with some italian seasonings. I buy the store brand mozzarella cheese, and I will either buy pepperoni or use whatever veggies I have on hand. Another thing I like to make is a bubble pizza, and when they have the 4 packs of canned biscuits bogo, I will buy them and make it that way.
