Do you check cans for dents when you put them in the cart. I always forget to do this, then I find the dents when I am putting the groceries away.

We have a store here that gives discounts on dented canned items, we've got women in the aisles throwing everything they buy on the ground first haha

I never check per se, but I notice sometimes just from picking up the can to put it in my cart

I don't inspect every can, but if I notice it when I pick it up I don't buy it.

I don't inspect them. I don't care if the side is dented. I only put them back if the rim is so badly misshapen that it immediately jumps out at me - those tend to get stuck in my can opener.

The only time I buy a dented can that I see, is if it is the last can of something and I need it right a way.

But if I drop the can and dent it myself, no big deal. And believe me I drop a lot!

No I don't normally inspect cans, if it's dented no biggie.
