Reusing empty salad dressing bottles or empty ketchup bottles.

When mixing up Pancake/Waffle Mix pour into an empty ketchup bottle or salad dressing bottle and store in refrig. This allows you to reduce your mess, have fresh pancakes/waffles for breakfast and not waste batter that doesn't get used up.

Just under a week with homemade mix...some say you can get a week if you use a "just add water" mix. IMO if you're going to use 'instant mix' why bother making it up ahead of time KWIM *just add water and stir* when you want it.

Anyhoo, I love the bottle idea as I do enjoy making homemade pancakes and think I will whip up a little batch and store in a bottle in the fridge!

Oh and if the batter seems flat towards the end of it’s life they recommend that you just make a crepe-like pancake instead.
