So whats the cheapest meal on your menu this week.

for us it will be spahgetti. for 5 people
1lb hamburger paid .99
spahgetti noodles .44
spahgetti suace .99(got a good deal on sale prego plus coupon)
bread sticks .99(day old rack)
bagged salad .69(dressing we already have)
grand total= $3.11

We're going to be eating a lot of sandwiches or cereal this week unless Himself has time to cook, which I doubt he will, since he's working on midterm grades. I will cook tonight, but the rest of the week, I go straight from work to rehearsal, and won't get home until late.

4 Baked Potatoes--$0.50 at the most

Tuesday--
2/3# of pasta--$0.66
1 Bag of Meatballs--$1.50
1 Garlic Bread--$2.00

Wednesday
4 Pork Chops--$1.99
1 Bag of Broccoli--$0.99
1 Mac and Cheese--$1.00

Thursday--
2 steaks--$5.00 each(As a former chef, I refuse to buy cheap cuts of meat)
1 Bag of Carrots--$0.99
Rice Pilaf--$1.00-$1.50 depending on what I put in it

Friday
2 Pizzas--$5.00 each

Saturday
Birthday party so free

Sunday
Grandma's so free

I have several very cheap meals planned!! We have had so many extra expenses the past 2 months, I am really trying to stretch out the food budget.

Ham & Potato casserole:
ham steak(free from fil)
2 boxes scalloped potatoes
butter beans

We had Baked Potato Night

Beenie Weenies and sweet corn muffins:
hotdogs- $2
2 cans pork & beans-$1
corn muffins homemade, not sure of cost but very cheap

Spaghetti & meatballs
