Read's canned three bean salad - it was so sweet it curled my teeth. Who the hell puts SUGAR on beans (except for baked beans)?

I am not sure if it was on sale or not, but I had a coupon for a Smithfield stuffed pork tenderloin. It was garlic and herb, but it had soooooo much garlic and herb that it was terrible.

And the bad part is that I rinsed it off, before I baked it!

Frozen Pad Thai dinner. Each box had 2 bags inside it, each bag feeds 4 (which really just feeds 2). All organic/healthy stuff in it. That should have clued me in right there, but the ingredient list was really good basic pad thai stuff.

Made one - it was awful. Now I have 3 more bags of that stuff in the freezer. It was buy one get one free.

As you've figured out, NEVER buy anything frozen that contains rice or noodles.

I'm not sure if this is a regional brand or not, but the few times I bought Johnny Morrel products they were terrible. A small grocery chain in my area features sales on that brand a lot. They are meat products that are too salty and have a very funny taste.

Littlejenn I don't like John Morrell meats either. I also don't like Bar S meats. One time when we were really broke my dad surprised us with some groceries. He guessed on the brands and got most of it right. It included some Bar S bologna and hot dogs. We really tried to eat them but we just couldn't. He also got us some Clover Valley brand pop from the dollar store and that was the worst pop I've ever had. We ended up giving it away to DH's nephew, who later told us "that pop was gross so I poured it out".

I agree, Bar S meats are not good! I have never tried the Clover Valley pop (I don't drink much but when I do I'm a pop snob, Coke only.) I have tried other Clover Valley products that weren't too bad. I've been buying their Kool-aide like mix lately and the picky people here have not noticed.
