Certain items get discounted when they need to move them out of the store. What are your faves?? What great deals have you found??

My favorite is the bakery markdowns. At Walmart, they put all the rolls, breads, bagels, cakes, ect on a rack in the back of the store. I check there first before heading into the bakery dept. I often buy the sandwich rolls marked down to about .75 and freeze them. When my family wants a sandwich, I pop in the microwave for about 30 seconds to defrost it.

I have done that at WalMart as well.
I get most of my bread at the local bakery bread store, sometimes 2 loaves for a $1
My Bulk area of the Commissary is where I look for Laundry detergent. The new stuff on front of store shelf $4.99 in the back $2.99, then use my $1 off coupons so pay $1.99.

I always head for the clearance rack at stores first. Jeans for 6'+ my son at TJ MAXX, Retail $58, TJ price $20, clearanced $10

I look at the meat and bread markdowns first.

the fresh meat and fish counter reduce a lot of stuff right before closing time (8pm) so really good bargains!
