I buy lots of fruit and veg, but I go to the farmers market or buy from the road side vendors that grow their own, Much better and cheeper.
I only spend about $50.00 a week after all my coupons.

I'm in too. My goal for food shopping for the month of December is:
$225 for the month of December

I will make a menu each week and follow it. I will use what I have already.

My goals for my grocery spending:

1) so far in November I have only spent $276 on groceries (my budget is $375) - I do need to get groceries tomorrow but not going to be too much.

2) December I would like to see my weekly grocery amount to be $75.

3) Come the first of the year I'm hoping to have my dd potty trained so I get diapers out of my grocery budget!!!

Wow.. no idea how some of you can spend so little on groceries.. does that include fresh fruits & veggies, meat, etc??

I'm in Canada, but we'd starve on that much.. lol!

I'm trying to stick to $150/week for a family of 6, one is breastfed. This doesn't include diapers, but does include cleaning supplies, etc..

i have the same problem....i always feel the need to "stock up" i have this fear that i'll pass up a great deal...and then prices will skyrocket a lot more, and i'll regret it

but i'm in with the challenge.
I can do $20 per week (me and me son) plus i have groceries stocked up i can use, so $20 is totally doable if I can resist the urge to...stock up
