So I just found out today that the school does FREE lunch for kids during the summer. We went over and had lunch after playgroup with some of the other ladies. I wish I would have known about it last month.
We really need to buckle down on spending. I am so happy! We can go over and have FREE lunch a couple times a week.

There is a church around here that does that. Luckily I don't need it but I think its great for those that do and I hope they take advantage of. Glad it helps you out.

That's cool! Ours does that too, but they only let "summer program" kids in for it. Parents pay $50 at the beg. of summer to the parks and rec. department here and then parks and rec. sets up "kids groups" depending on what the child is interested in- they have a full day of activities that include the waterpark, "fun lesson- science projects," playing sports in the school gyms and a bunch of other stuff. All of the kids that are in the program get to eat for free at the school. It's a nice program. I know a lot of parents that have their kids in it.
