Talk about cheap - here are a variety of recipes using ramen noodles. They're like what? a quarter per package? I'm giving the link so you can look through all the ones available.

This is great, I have amassed a huge amount of these noodles. I get them when they are on sale which is often with the intent that I will find something different to do with them.

Thanks for sharing!

Great website! I get my Ramen noodles for even cheaper. $3.10 for a case of 36 at Sam's!

My two favorite recipes are:

1. Boil the water for the noodles. Put in a handful of your favorite frozen veggies, along with any left over chopped up pieces of meat. Add noodles and fix like the package says. Sometimes I will cook up some chicken and cut it up into bite size pieces and freeze. Then I take a handful from the freezer and throw in with the veggies.

2. Cook noodles according to package directions, plus add a few dashes of chili sesame oil to the water. Add seasoning, then drain the noodles (after they are cooked). Top with a fried egg. I like to add a little soy sauce. We do this a lot for breakfast or lunch.

Also, there is a great alternative to Ramen noodles called Indomie. It is an Indonesian brand and are really good. They come with 4 seasoning packets, including oil and a soy sauce paste. They are kind of hard to find and you have to usually go to an Asian market to get them. We order a case at a time from our Asian market.

I really like the idea with veggies. I like the roast beef brand with beef cubes & A1.

This is my favorite ramen recipe. I don't use ramen too often, but it's a great way to save $.

BTW, none of the budget101 links are working for me. Is her website down or is it working for you?
